The plugins page provides an interface where you can extend the functionality of your blog by installing extensions known as plugins. You can visit this page at localhost:8000/dashboard?route=plugins. Or by clicking the Plugins dashboard menu.

On the plugins page you will see a list of available plugins, and their descriptions. From this page, you can activate, deactivate, or delete a plugin.

Activating and deactivating a plugin

To activate a plugin, go to the plugins page and you will see a list of available plugins. Find the name of the plugin you want to activate or deactivate. Below the name of the plugin, there is a link that shows 'Activate' if the plugin is inactive, and 'Deactivate' if the plugin is active. Click on that link to activate the plugin.

Deleting a plugin

To delete a plugin, navigate to the plugins page. There you will find a list of all available plugins. Look for the name of the plugin you want to delete, and below that name, you will see a link in red that shows 'Delete'. Ifyou don't see the link, then it is likely that the plugin is active. Deactivate it by clicking the deactivate link. Once the plugin is inactive, you can then click the delete link. You will get a warning telling you that this action is not reversible. Click OK, and the plugin will be deleted.

Conclusion

That’s it for the plugins screen overview. In the next post, we will look at the media section. This is where you manage your media files like images, audios, and videos.
